In Roll 04 we followed Mattia Marzorati, Italian photojournalist based near Como, along the development of his project The Land of Holes. Photography represents for Mattia an important communication tool to strive for social change. Environmental and social issues are indeed central themes in his work, which over time has become increasingly concerned with the illegal practices that have marked the territory of northern Italy, where he was born and raised.
